Upgrade Your Image!

Professional Design!

Design means many things- graphic design, site design, information architecture, etc. However you use the term, it has to do with distilling information into a single concept, package or drawing to express a thought.

Good design is an excellent investment. It saves time and money. It is not only attractive, but it's efficient and intuitive. It also avoids misinterpretations and mistakes.

Case Study - Branding and Identity Design

Professional Design is an Investment!

It is important that your company or product be recognized. Every contact with a customer, supplier, employee, or the public should be instantly recognizable, familiar and consistent. Each subsequent contact builds on the image of your company as a professional, polished, credible entity.

John Williams (CVTI Consulting) does consulting on business and technical projects. He wanted a simple, clean design that showed a little color and some action, but was conservative and professional and did not detract from the contents or text of his message. He also wanted to underscore his global experience.

We developed a design with a light gray watermark on some versions that lets the text shine through very legibly, with some thin lines that show action and color.

Business Card

Audience- Current and prospective clients

Purpose-

A convenient reference to John's contact information for current clients.

Brief information about the types of work John does for referrals and other people who may not be familiar with his work.

John wanted the card to carry a lot of information, but to be visually appealing and not too "busy." We used the front and back of the card to create a very powerful, informative document in a very small, convenient package.

Letterhead

Audience- Current and prospective clients

Purpose- John wanted very versatile letterhead so that it could be used for everything from cold sales letters to cover letters for proposals and project status. The simple, clean design from the business card was repeated on a larger scale, but the watermark was dimmed so that it wouldn't detract from the text, which could be lengthy and/or technical on some of his projects.

We also used colors that would be consistent whether he had items professionally printed or used his own inkjet printer. This made the letterhead economical and convenient to use.

Web Page

Audience- Current and prospective clients

Purpose- Again, the clean design ensures that the emphasis is on the text. It also ensures that the pages load quickly and is consistent on many browsers or even small PDA screens.
